LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS
This work is inspired by a trip I took in the Spring to the Mammoth Cave National Park, Kentucky. No matter how many caves I visit, they never cease to scare as well as amaze me. Even in the cave’s absolute darkness, there is light in the form of life. It is a hard life in the caves but this eco-system has found a delicate balance to survive. For me, being interconnected with nature is like in my art, always striving for balance.
